Agbo Jedi — Daily Walk with Nature

A Yorùbá traditional daily tonic, Agbo Jedi is a simple, time-honored blend of roots, barks, and leaves prepared to assist everyday digestive comfort and help you feel lighter, steadier, and more at ease. In Yorùbá, “Jẹ́dí” is a catch-all nickname for discomforts around the lower back, intestines, and anal region—often tied to modern food habits and “internal heat.” Agbo Jedi meets that reality with bitters and aromatics people have reached for across generations.

We grow and wild-harvest our botanicals in West Africa using regenerative methods and keep them close to their natural state—no dyes, no synthetic fragrances, no fillers—so the plants can speak for themselves.

Plain-language promise: We avoid claim language. This formula is crafted to assist the body’s everyday housekeeping and pairs best with whole-food meals, hydration, and rest. It is not a drug and not a substitute for medical care.

What this daily tonic is designed to support

  • A sense of digestive ease and regularity

  • Comfort in the “where-you-sit” region

  • A calmer, less “hot” internal feel (heat balance)

  • Day-to-day clarity and lightness as routine builds

What’s inside (and why it’s here)

Components (common + scientific names):

  • Neem leaf (Azadirachta indica) – A classic bitter green used across West Africa in household and personal care traditions.

  • Scent leaf (Ocimum gratissimum) – An aromatic kitchen herb that brings a fresh, clarifying note to daily tonics.

  • Aidan fruit (Tetrapleura tetraptera) – A beloved native spice often used in soups; included here for gut-comfort rituals.

  • Grains of Paradise (Aframomum melegueta) – A warming seed-spice long used to help balance “internal heat.”

  • Oruwo / Morinda lucida bark (Morinda lucida) – A cornerstone bitter bark in West African folk blends for everyday internal housekeeping.

  • Christmas bush (Alchornea cordifolia) – Traditionally included for lower-body comfort and steady day-to-day energy.

  • Violet tree (Securidaca longepedunculata) – Used in folk practice for blood and tissue housekeeping.

  • Oruwo extract (Morinda lucida) – A concentrated companion to the bark above, commonly prepared in rainy-season routines.

Together, these botanicals create a bitters-forward, spice-bright profile—the kind of daily cup many West African families grew up with.

How Agbo Jedi fits into a broader routine

Agbo Jedi is a gentle daily starting point—your “walk with nature” while you simplify meals, hydrate, and rest well. If you’re building a deeper protocol, many people pair this cultural staple with targeted cleanses over time (e.g., Gut Cleanse for the front door; Lymphatic Cleanse for fluid movement). Start where you are, and keep it simple.
